Museum Museum

In Alexander Chavchavadze's lifetime the Tsinandali estate was a cultural hearth where Georgian and Russian poets and the finest representatives of the intelligentsia gathered. The conspirators of 1832 also met here, Alexander Chavchavadze among them; he was exiled and freed in 1837. The Tsinandali park, including its buildings and nursery, covers 12 hectares; of its 400 species of woody plants, more than 150 are exotic.
