The complex's small grounds are reinforced by a retaining wall on the east and partly on the north. On the south and north the courtyard is bounded by a low enclosure wall of curving outline. The church stands at the northeast edge of the courtyard, its east facade overlooking the ravine. The remaining buildings are ranged close together in the western part of the courtyard.
