The house museum of the famous Georgian writer Mikheil Javakhishvili (1880–1937) preserves and displays the writer's personal belongings and archive, his library, and photographs and other documents recording his life and work, introducing visitors to his writing and his difficult path through life (Mikheil Javakhishvili fell victim to the repressions of the 1930s — he was shot in 1937).
