The village consisted of the following families: Azikuri, Khosikuridze and Shuaridze. Settlers of other names also came from the neighboring villages (Hegho, Chontio, Dakiurta, Nakudurta, Uka and Bochorma). It emptied in the Soviet period. According to the villagers' account, the towers were built by a Kist father and son from Baulo — a common occurrence in peaceful times.
