A lake in eastern Georgia, in the northern part of Tbilisi, on the left side of the Mtkvari River near the village of Gldani, 546 m above sea level. Surface area 0.2 km², basin area 0.77 km². The lake is about 900 m long and 300 m wide. It is fed mainly by rain and snowmelt as well as by bitter saline springs. Its level is high in spring and low in summer. The lake has no outflow.
