Tanie Lake is a cirque lake on the northern slope of the main Caucasus range in Tusheti-Khevsureti, 2,232 m above sea level. Surface area 0.033 km², greatest depth 7.6 m, volume 123 thousand m³. Fed by snow, rain and groundwater, with an outflow. The water level is low in winter and high in spring and summer. The water is fresh. There are no fish.
