A lake in Akhalkalaki municipality, on the western slope of Patara Abuli, 2,176 meters above sea level. Surface area 0.9 km², basin area 8.3 km², depth 1.4 m. The lake basin is elongated from northwest to southeast. It is fed by snow, rain and groundwater. High water comes at the end of spring, low water at the end of summer or the start of autumn. It has no permanent inflows and no outflow; most of it is covered with algae. The lake bed holds a fairly thick layer of peat. It freezes in winter. There are no fish in the lake.
