Tsalka reservoir is Georgia's largest reservoir by surface area, in Tsalka municipality, 1,506 m above sea level, in the valley of the Khrami River. Surface area 33.7 km², catchment area 1,060 km², volume 312 million m³. Maximum depth 25 m, average depth 9.3 m. It is elongated from west to east. The shores are mostly low and gently sloping, but steep and high along the southeastern stretch. It is fed by the Khrami and other small rivers, as well as by groundwater, snow and rain.
