An Armenian church in Tbilisi, in Avlabari, west of Ketevan Tsamebuli Square. In 1804–1808 Armenian refugees from Etchmiadzin who had settled in Avlabari built a small hall church here. In 1846 it was enlarged and converted into an inscribed-cross church. In the square east of the church stands a stone cross dedicated by the Armenian people on April 9, 1989, to the memory of those who perished. The church was reconstructed in 2009.
