Makhuntseti Waterfall

Waterfall Adjara, Keda district

Waterfall Waterfall

A waterfall in Georgia, in Keda municipality. It is located in the northern part of the village of Zeda Makhuntseti, 335 meters above sea level, on the right side of the Acharistskali River. On a small tributary a 50-meter waterfall pours down, forming a sizable pool. Issuing from a series of porphyritic tuffs and tuff breccias in that part of the ridge, the waterfall is highly impressive and draws many visitors. Restaurant-type eateries and picnic spots are laid out nearby.
