The Church of the Mother of God of Nunisi is a 9th–10th-century church in Nunisi. The church has been destroyed and renewed many times. It was last destroyed and burned by Omar Khan in late autumn 1785, after the capture of Vakhani fortress. Until the 1860s no one thought of restoring the ruined church. It was renewed in the 11th–13th centuries, then many times more, and finally in 1895.
