The Roshka boulders rank among the largest "erratic" (wandering) boulders in the world. Their dimensions are 19 × 5 × 7 m (length, width, height), 22 × 13 × 10, 22 × 20 × 8, and 25 × 10 × 11 (the "Split Boulder"). Smaller but still impressive erratic boulders are scattered in great numbers over the higher parts of the Abudelauri valley and also below Roshka, in the valley of the Khevsureti Aragvi. All these boulders were carried down from the Chaukhi massif by a Pleistocene glacier, whose terminus lay near the village of Ghelisvake at 1,450 m above sea level.
