The cave is formed in Barremian limestones. The entrance opens at the bottom of a karst funnel masked by vegetation, sloping gently into the depths. After the inclined corridor the cave widens to 10–15 m and passes into a rather impressive chamber with a horizontal floor, whose ceiling approaches almost 30 m. Among the chemical deposits, the stalactites and stalagmites are notable, and the unusually large size of the dripstone draws attention: a stalactite torn from the ceiling by its own weight measures 5 m around — a stalactite of this size is rare in Europe. 160 m from the entrance an 8-m stalagmite rises from the floor, measuring 8.5 m around at the base and 4.5 m at the middle. The cave is also a palaeontological monument, for bones of the cave bear were discovered here.
