The Oshkebi towers stand in Akhmeta municipality, in Tusheti, on the eastern edge of the abandoned village of Hegho, some forty meters apart. They belong to the late Middle Ages. The two towers stand at different levels, 8 meters apart. Both are built of slate, dry-laid. At every story the towers' corners are reinforced with pairs of long slate slabs laid diagonally. The monuments are damaged: the roofs of both towers, the upper parts of the top-story walls and the floors between stories have collapsed.
