Duluzarurebi Church of Kviria

Church Mtskheta-Mtianeti, Tianeti district

Church Church

The Kviria church is a hall church (9.3 × 5.1 m) standing in the northeastern section of the complex. It is built of travertine blocks of various sizes and shapes; most of the coursing is of large, cleanly worked rectangular stones, but some of the stones are small and of random shape, so the straightness of the courses on the facades is only partly maintained. It is badly damaged: the roof covering, the upper parts of the transverse facades and the cornice have collapsed, and part of the facing has fallen away. Earth is banked against the monument to a height of 1.5 m on the north and east.
