Kvareli reservoir, or Kvareli Lake, is a reservoir in eastern Georgia, in Kvareli municipality. It lies at the foot of the southwestern slope of the Kakheti Caucasus, on the right side of the Duruji River, about 150 km from Tbilisi, 430 m above sea level. It was created in a small former river hollow, enlarged by an earthen dam 20 m high and 800 m long. The reservoir's water is used for irrigation. It is now landscaped and serves as a recreation spot. On the southwestern shore stand the hotel and restaurant "Kvareli Lake", along with a sports and fitness complex, two open-air swimming pools (one for children), a modern gym with fitness equipment, Turkish and Finnish saunas, and a spa center with masseurs and products of the Italian brand Ten.
