From 1871 the village of Asureti was graced by a Gothic-style church, where the pastor of the time, Schrenk, held weekly services. The old church is divided into three parts, with Evangelical, Orthodox and Catholic prayer corners. Today Orthodox icons stand in the disused Lutheran church. The Germans' family cemetery obelisk stands in a lilac avenue, restored in 2001.
