In Kaspi stands a monument to Giorgi Saakadze (erected in 1971; sculptor M. Berdzenishvili, architect G. Japaridze). Giorgi Saakadze, the Grand Mouravi (1580–1629), was a Georgian political and military figure, commander and military strategist.
