A rock pillar 15 meters high formed in Neogene conglomerate — naturally cemented river gravels. The pillar's lower part is 4 meters across, narrowing gradually upward. In its lower part is a two-room cave with a niche cut into the wall. About 150–200 m from the pillar stands the Bodorna Church of the Mother of God, built in the 17th century. On the slopes around the natural monument there are numerous man-made rock-cut caves, which in our historical past served as shrines or refuges.
