Gudauri is a mountain ski resort in Stepantsminda municipality, on the southern slopes of the Caucasus, 120 km from Tbilisi at 2,196 m above sea level. The ski season lasts from December to April. The resort owes its popularity to the nearby Georgian Military Road.
