The church is a hall church (4.9 × 4.1 m) built into the west wall of the enclosure so that its own west wall forms part of the enclosure. The building is of gray rubble stone, with reddish dressed stone used for the outer corners, the door and window surrounds and the cornice. The entrance is from the north through a rectangular door. The church's only window is cut in the east wall of the rectangular sanctuary, with the altar stone standing beneath it. The north and south walls each hold a rectangular niche
