A cave 40 m long with an arched entrance, formed in Lower Cretaceous limestone and notable for its small stalactites, columns and stalagmites, in the southern part of the Tskaltsitela valley. After 10 m the cave narrows to 2.5 m, and in its final section the ceiling drops to 0.5 m. The end of the cave is blocked by a muddy collapse. The cave is home to many troglobiont animals. The animal bones and flint tools found here show that the cave served as a dwelling for Palaeolithic man.
