Church Church

The Balebiani church (4.55 × 3 m) dated to the 12th–13th centuries. It was built of rubble stone and mortar and was almost completely destroyed; the surviving walls rose no more than 2 meters. On the east, the flattened semicircular apse was raised by two steps and held two rectangular niches. A high step ran along the church's west, south and north walls. The church was roofed with slate.
