St. Nino's church of Gardateni dates to the late feudal era. It is a hall church (7.65 × 5.6 m) built of sandstone blocks. The structure is badly damaged: the vault and conch have partly collapsed, the facing courses of the walls have fallen away, and fragments of plaster survive here and there in the interior.
