The church (8.2 × 8 m) is a cross-domed structure built of cobblestone. It is badly damaged: only the sanctuary window and the eastern parts of the north and south walls survive; the conch of the apse lacks its upper part, and the western side of the church is completely destroyed. In the east arm is a semicircular apse preceded by a short bema. The springing of the apse conch is laid with a single course of dressed stone. The other arms must have been rectangular.
