St. George's church of Patara Mejvriskhevi is a hall church (7 × 4.7 m) built of cobblestone and brick. The arched entrance is on the south. The semicircular apse has one window and two deep niches; below the window stands a rectangular altar stone. There is one window each in the west and south walls (the south window is walled up). On the hall's long walls are pilasters that carried the transverse arch of the cylindrical vault. On the south facade, on either side of the door, decorative lozenges are worked in brick. Fragments of a travertine cornice survive on the west facade. The gabled roof is tiled, with a brick belfry standing over its western end.
