St. George's church of Pkhvenisi is a hall church (9 × 5 m) built of cobblestone, with rubble stone at the corners. The entrance is on the south. The semicircular apse has one window, with one more each in the south and west walls. The church is covered with a cylindrical vault. A four-pillared brick belfry rises over the western part of the roof
