Lentekhi is a townlet, the administrative center of Lentekhi municipality. It lies on the southern slopes of the Svaneti range, on the Laskanura River, a tributary of the Tskhenistskali (760 m above sea level), 102 km from Kutaisi. It received townlet status in 1969. Population 1,700 (2002). It has administrative, cultural, educational and healthcare institutions and small enterprises.
