The Amilakhvari tower of Otarsheni is cylindrical (diameter 10.5 m), built of cobblestone, with brick used in places on the inner faces of the walls and running in bands across the facades. The entrance is at the second story. The first story is an auxiliary space with a single window. In the surviving fragments of the second story, besides the door, one window and several loopholes can be seen; in what remains of the third story there are only two loopholes. The floors between stories have collapsed.
