A smallish lake in Dedoplistskaro municipality, lying between the Shiraki plain and the Iori plateau, 775 m above sea level. Surface area 0.38 km², volume 1.06 million m³, catchment area 1.3 km². Maximum depth 3.2 m, average depth 2.8 m. The lake has no outflow. The water is brackish (6.9 g/l). According to one scientific view, Lake Kochebi is a remnant of the Caspian Sea.
