An 11th-century monument of Georgian architecture, the St. George's church stands in the valley of the Shabtskala (a tributary of the Tedzami), in Kaspi municipality. The domed church, of elongated cross plan, is built of cleanly dressed ashlar. The fragments of painting preserved in the interior date to the 11th century.
