St. Nino's church stands on the northern edge of Mount Kartli. It dates to the late feudal era, and its original appearance has been altered. It is a hall church (7.75 × 7.45 m) built of large stone blocks. The entrance is from the south. The apse is semicircular in form and holds three niches — one on the north, two on the south. The east wall has one window (remodeled), the south wall two. The hall is covered with a vault. The interior walls are plastered (the plaster is late). The church's socle is of rubble stone, the cornice of rectangular slabs.
