The St. John the Baptist church dates to the transitional period of the developed feudal era. It is a hall church (7.3 × 4 m) built of rubble stone. The small chapel added later on the west (only its north and west walls survive) and the wall paintings of the interior are badly damaged. Of the northern annex only a small wall remains. The church's arched entrances are on the south (half walled up) and west. A narrow arched opening cut later in the semicircular apse (now walled up) connected the church with the northern annex.
