Church Church

The Church of the Mother of God is a cross-domed building (10.4 × 9.3 m) built of dressed stone blocks. It is badly damaged: the north and west walls are completely destroyed. The entrances — arched inside and topped by architraves outside — are on the west and north. Each of the four walls has one window. Flanking the apse are a rectangular prothesis and diaconicon, each with a window on the east. The arches beneath the dome rest on the east against the apse wall, and on the west on two free-standing piers linked to the building's walls by arches resting on consoles
