The Kliki Jvari church is a three-church basilica (10.5 × 10 m) built of rubble stone, with the structural parts (squinches, pilasters, conch, arches, door and window jambs and the outer corners of the central church) in well-worked travertine blocks. The building is damaged: the roof and upper walls of the central church and the transverse arches have not survived, and the walls of the north and south churches stand only 1–2 meters high. The building consists of the central church and two lower churches added later along its full length on the south and north.
