The church is a hall church (9.7 × 6.2 m) built of smallish cobblestone in irregular courses, with the corners, windows, entrances, pilasters, transverse arches and cornice in large blocks of wine-colored tuff. The church has two entrances — on the west (walled up) and on the south. Both are arched outside and rectangular inside. On the axis of the apse is an arched window, with a wide arched niche to its north. The sanctuary platform is raised by one step
