The church is a hall church (8.5 × 6.8 m) built of rubble stone. It has been repaired; a wide, tall buttress is built along the full length of both the north and south sides. The entrance is from the west, through a rectangular door with a semicircular stone tympanum. A second door, in the western part of the south wall, was blocked when the buttresses were added. On the east, in the rectangular sanctuary, is a large arched window narrowing inward; a similar window is in the west wall above the door. The north and south walls of the sanctuary each hold a small niche. The chancel screen is of wood, painted by the Tbilisi artist D. Gegelidze
