Nazghat fortress is built of rubble stone and badly damaged. Rectangular in plan (20 × 17.8 m), it was divided by a wall into two parts — the east and west courtyards. At the northwest and northeast corners, and where the dividing wall met the north wall, stood rectangular towers (the west wall, the western part of the south wall and the northwest tower survive).
