Tsivi hill (Tsivi)

View Kakheti, Telavi

View View

Tsivi is a mountain in the middle section of the Gombori range, on the watershed of the upper courses of the Kisiskhevi and Turdo rivers (right tributaries of the Alazani), 1,991 meters high, on the border of the Telavi and Sagarejo municipalities. It is built of loose Mio-Pliocene deposits (the so-called Tsivi series) — conglomerates, sands and clays. Its northwestern and southeastern slopes are steep, the southwestern and northeastern gentle. The upper part is covered with subalpine grassland, the lower with deciduous forest.
