The Kviratskhoveli cemetery and church, archaeologically studied in 1972–73 (led by Ramin Ramishvili; church studied by M. Rcheulishvili), were completely destroyed in 1976 during construction of the temporary Khevsureti road. They stood across from the village of Zhinvali, on the left bank of the Aragvi.
